The art work is done, the tracks are being mixed down and the project is on its way. This is the first project from Phillip Myrick and the second full Coke and Caviar presented tape. With 21-tracks, and a bonus cut Phillip gives us an overall prospective his talents. By next week the tape will be available for download. For now, take a look at the artwork designed by myself and photographed by the homie Brittney Briggs of Sticks and Stones.
Peep the back cover below, and look out for the video to “Ivory,” dropping soon!
For exactly 1 year and 1 week Phillip Myrick and I have been working on a few projects. His first is a 21-track mixtape entitled 21 Candles. It’s already completed and a video has been shot for it over the weekend. “Ivory” is to be the first single/video that we’re going to drop.
In episode 2 of The Gorgeous Life of Jimmy Cal, we get to know the man behind the music. In his first radio Interview, Jimmy discusses everything from music, personal preferences to opinions on certain topics.
Riz Bubz has made a few appearances in Vibe & XXL mag as well as a few other places. Gaining a lot of industry attention his music fell upon the ears of Georgia-native Waka FLocka and they’ve been kicking it ever since. Here’s whats sure to be the first of many collabs between Riq & Waka. Shout out to the homie TwiZz on directing this video.
So South Skr3wedUp Boyz sit down with Robbie for a game of “Ask and Pass,” and find out Everything you ever wanted to know about So South!
Last month we premiered Jimmy Cal’s first single “Twerk It,” produced by the DMV homie Bravestarr. A little over a month later were back to bring you the official video for the joint. Camera work by Rock Davis & Jay Rodriguez helps the fans relate to the track more, as they watch Mr. Cali Ocean do his thing at a trendy lounge.
As you know we at Coke & Caviar have been hard at work in the studio, and on our day to day grind in general. The efforts of our labor will be on full display for the world to see shortly. Our boy Jimmy Cal is gearing up for quite an impressive first quarter. With me acting as artists and repertoire, and executive producer, you can be sure Jimmy’s first project, The Ocean Effect, will be one to remember. Look for that to drop in April 2013. Until then check out the first single. Video coming soon!
Catch the download after the break. Continue reading »

The N.A.S.A. Boys bring us the first part in their video series documenting their summer of 2012 adventure. With production by Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids, the Messiah and Skywalker go in, detailing a typical summer day. This track will be featured on N.A.S.A.’s upcoming debut project, The Countdown. Look for that to drop soon.
